Free Dental Clinic Volunteers Needed Nov 14-15

Medical Center employees are invited to volunteer for the Winston-Salem Free Adult Dental Clinic, Nov 14-15, at the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds Education Building.

More than 600 volunteers are needed for a variety of non-medical tasks including Spanish/English interpreters.

Other volunteer assignments include loading and unloading trucks, greeters, runners, patient escorts, scribes, registration/check-out, food service, and data entry. Departments or families are welcome to volunteer as a group and work together.

Plans are for an 80-chair full dental clinic including digital x-ray, sterilization, and all instrumentation and supplies, with possibly up to 1,000 patients to receive free dental care.

Register as a volunteer today at: www.ncmomwinston.org

For more information, contact Sara Quandt: 6-6015, squandt@wakehealth.edu.

This is the first dental clinic to be held in Winston-Salem by the North Carolina Dental Society's Missions of Mercy. Please join in making it a success for the many patients attending.
